Mofasa Lifts CC was established in 2007. We started out as a sub-contractor company, technically supporting major lift companies with installations and repairs of escalators ONLY. In 2012 we started to supply handrails to the major lift companies in South Africa and this led to us being asked not only to supply but also to install new handrails on escalators.
In 2015, we were approached by EHC Global, a very successful OEM escalator handrail supplier and became the official EHC Distributor in South Africa as well as Africa. All our staff is trained and certified by EHC Global, to perform handrail vulcanization according and complying to EN-115. This gives us the confidence to provide a guarantee on our handrail joints.
We stock OEM handrail of all major makes of handrails in South Africa. Available to not only lift companies, but to the end customer as well. Readily available, no long waiting for material from overseas anymore. We also supply escalator parts for all makes of escalators.
Mofasa has been a technical supporting company for Schindler, Otis, Thyssen, Vision, IFE, Power Elevators, Summit, United, Kone. This includes installations, repairs, supplying of spare parts, and problem solving, etc.
